Fiona O'Shea

O'Shea's genuine and heartfelt tone results in a simple, unadorned beauty that is accessible and appreciable the moment she begins to sing. Her voice is gorgeous and direct at the same time. Comparable to Alanis Morissette or Sheryl Crow.

Fiona O’Shea was absolutely outstanding and got right into the spirit of Cycle Queensland. The Band managed to capture the mood of the riders and got the entertainment marquee up and dancing.

From foot stomping to heart stopping, Fiona O'Shea writes with passion about love, living and everyday things. Travelling the road between small towns and big cities where words sock you in the heart, melodies explode and you catch yourself singing along. Her performance and vocal style akin to Queensland weather. One minute you're sipping tea on the front verandah, the next you're in the middle of an exhilarating summer storm.

O'Shea is about to release her second brood of songs, much to the delight of her loyal following who have waited patiently since the successful debut EP “Rose” in 2010. This time lapse serving only to increase the mystery and intrigue that often surrounds our best singer songwriters. Not in it for fame nor fortune, O'Shea is the genuine article, both individual and unconventional. Genre hopping with ease between rock, folk, country and blues.
Growing up on the land, now living on the Sunshine Coast, Australia elements of O'Shea's lifestyle are evident in her music. Writing at night under the stars audiences can feel the authenticity of heart, hear the surf rolling in and smell the camp fire wood burning.
As the flame continues to burn O'Shea continues to increase her devoted fan base performing at festivals, venues and house concerts throughout Australia.
