FreshWaterJazz is the jazz band that wants to get you smiling! We comprise male vocalist, saxophone/clarinet, keyboard, double bass, drums/percussion and we play well -known jazz standards in a mainstream style.

This group of jazz musicians lives up to their name. They manage, seemingly effortlessly, to combine the qualities of vigor and cool. I had no idea what to expect. There is so much to go to nowadays that I find myself hoping that what I do hear will be sustaining and enlivening. Freshwater Jazz went beyond my expectations and I throughly enjoyed all their pieces. Special note of Marion Lustig, the pianist, who adds movement and a particular form of liveliness to the performance. This is a group to look out for and not to miss hearing.

Freshwater Jazz - a most refreshing addition to the Melbourne Jazz scene. A cool combo.

Freshwater Jazz played at our recent Theatrical Mayhem cabaret night. They were fantastic! It was easy to sit back and enjoy the wonderful flow, mood and feel of the music. They were also very professional and well-organized in their approach to the gig. I am very keen for them to return and perform for us regularly.
