A very polished, well presented, 9-11 piece cover band, featuring 4-6 horns. We are unlike most horns based bands, playing modern music, including songs from Maroon 5, Pussycat Dolls, etc. as well as rehashed classics from Bublè and Robbie Williams.

We could not have had a better band for our wedding at Crown Casino River Room on September 2011. As a trained pianist myself, I was extremely picky on my band choices, having visited literally dozens of live bands geared towards weddings but found none of them overly great. Maestro of Ceremonies blew me away though, they were absolutely perfect. The entire band had great tonal and volume control for their size (over 10 instruments on the night!) and played a great range of songs from jazz to pop to big band, alternating between male and female vocals. We are still meeting friends 3 months later who comment how great the band was. Alex was also extremely organised, welcoming and experienced - I had immediately felt that this was the band for us. Thanks so much Alex and I would recommend Maestro of Ceremonies to any function or event - especially weddings! (24th September, 2011)

We are a highly polished act, having played for several private functions, weddings, and festivals run by rotary clubs and councils.

We play a variety of styles of music, including swing jazz, Latin, rock, funk/R&B and pop. We are different from most bands with horns, because we play songs from this era, including Christina Aguilera, Pussycat Dolls, Maroon 5. All the swing jazz music we play is rehashed to give it a more modern feel, as per Michael Bublè and Robbie Williams.

This is the best band I have ever heard in Melbourne. It's like a smaller version of Michael Buble's band! I really thank God that He blessed us with this band for our wedding ceremony. The willingness to help and accomodate are indescribable. Alex, the team leader spent so much time just to make sure the flow of the songs from the beggining to the end ran smoothly. He even wrote the music sheets for 3 of the new songs we requested for different instruments in their band. And the people in the band are just so nice. I really can't mention how great a service this band has done for us. You really need to get to know and have this band as part of your celebrations of life.

I was initially concerned about the volume of the band being too loud at our little wedding reception venue - they are not a small band! The band organiser assured us that there wouldn't be a problem. We were so glad we went ahead - Maestro Of Ceremonies charmed our guests with easy listening music when meals were being served, and then really got into the groove when we wanted to dance. They really made our special day just that little bit more special! Very classy - would definitely recommend!
