Matt James

Matt James is a Brisbane/Gold Coast based soloist, Who has spent the last 18 years as a professional performer. Performing with, original bands, The Hearafter, Grover’s Mill and also the cover’s band Deguise.

Matt has now been performing solo,and sometimes as a duo, with his unique vocal style and full bodied acoustic guitar sound, since July 2005. Matt has performed in over 200 different venues, from clubs, bars, small outdoor festivals, private and corporate functions, in Australia and the U.K, and successfully manages to adapt his performance to the audience’s taste and demographic. With a song selection that is diverse and varied, ranging from the 50’s to now. Matt plays to about 3000 people a month.
